Thank you to the fifteen artists and many, many friends, fans and collectors who joined us last Friday for the Artists’ Reception of Landscapes, Legends and Light hosted at Ann Korologos Gallery. It was a wonderful opportunity for both artist and viewer to connect, to interact, to explore and contemplate together. Please enjoy this gallery of images taken by photographer Bob Rugile.
“Landscapes, Legends and Light is an opportunity for both artist and viewer to connect through an experience that is both universal and deeply intimate, evoking delight and contemplation,” shares Sue Edmonds, gallery director. “Our desire is, and always has been, for every interaction with this art, the artists, and our community to bring beauty, connection, and knowledge to each person with every visit.”
Later in the exhibition ceramicist Michael Wisner will give an artist talk and demonstration Thursday, July 24 from 5 to 7PM, and Leon Loughridge will create and print Japanese-style moku hanga woodblock prints over a three-day artist residency July 31 to August 2.
Artists Dan Young, Terry Gardner, Margaretta Caesar, and Diana Woods will be in the spotlight throughout the month showcasing the depth and feeling of Colorado landscapes.
