The american experience -natural vistas 2009

The American Experience is our on-going art series which features the many artists who have shaped America as we know it. Natural Vistas celebrates three artists who choose the natural splendor of the west as their inspiration. Each is an accomplished artist who approaches the beauty around us in a unique way.

Dan Young is the well respected American artist who is represented by dozens of important collections throughout the world. His unique style and approach capture the rugged beauty of the west. Greg Stocks' painterly style and loose brushwork remind us of the great landscape painters of the 19th Century, but with Greg's distinctly modern touch. Elizabeth Sandia uses the soft media of pastel and watercolor to paint her dreamy landscapes, while showing her mastery of these diffacult media.
